Jo is the founder and director of Enterprise Stuff Ltd, a "small but sweet" agency committed to supporting social ventures (social enterprises, charities, individuals and ethical businesses).
Her passion is seeing other people's ideas become sustainable through the creation of exciting social enterprise models. She does this by making connections, mentoring and empowering people to make the world a better place.
She is our regional connector in Manchester for the Ogunte Make a Wave programme, Incubator for 250 Future Social Entrepreneurs.
"I've worked with organizations on business strategy, income generation, values development and other transformative activity that results in positive change. I'm careful to approach any strategy by considering 3 key areas, profit, purpose and people, in equal measure.
I'm also the founder and organiser of Good For Girls, a crew of thinkers, doers, tinkerers and creative misfits who support girls to do good things!
This year I was delighted to be named winner of Social Enterprise Network Mentor Champion of the Year & Pay It Forward Awards 2013.
I'm a Head For Business Schools Social Enterprise Mentor, Council Member for Social Enterprise UK, SFEDI Gold Accredited Business Advisor, RSA fellow and Enterprise Associate for Young Advisors."
"Jo was the trainer on an enterprise course that I've just completed. She has a wonderful approach - she's challenging, gets the best out of people and does this in a way that is nurturing and empowering. She worked with a wide range of people, from different backgrounds, and left them all brimming with confidence and energy. My business simply wouldn't have started without her."
