Your Social Impact
Measure Your Social impact
Your Work affects your community, your environment, people...
What does it mean and... Could you have made a greater contribution?
Measuring social impact is a fundamental part of any social enterprise as it provides (you and others) the answer to whether the job is being done effectively.
When other organisations give you generic indicators and systems to work with, the Social Impact Team at OGUNTE provides you with tools and techniques to understand your values, translate them into an effective and focused proposal, and establish unique measurements criteria that fit your SOCIAL BUSINESS/PROJECT and RELEVANT stakeholders.
We work with you on the knowledge that is relevant to you, and help you articulate it.
Over a ten months period, three days of practical workshops and a support package of challenges and teleconferences between sessions, the OGUNTE team will cover the following areas with you:
| Month #1 | Measuring Social Impact | Laying the foundations |
| 1 day | Determine what it is you are seeking to achieve and how you can measure this. Includes identifying your core marketing message, methods for measuring, key indicators and how the data can be collected. | |
| Month #6 | Measuring Social Impact | Making data work for you |
| 1 day | Review, refine and adjust data collection. Identify how the goalposts change or are affected by unforeseen circumstances. Reduce costs and align the data with the direction of the organisation. | |
| Month #10 | Measuring Social Impact | Reporting |
| 1 day | Write your report, not just for your own purposes but to also satisfy stakeholders and ensure it stands up to scrutiny. This report has to be appropriate to what it is you have set out to achieve and not be compromised by a generic framework. | |
| Throughout Period |
Managing Social Impact | Understanding and Transferring skills |
| Number of sessions to be determined by group | individuals | Virtual support and collaborative brainstorming to accompany all participating enterprises on this journey. (Web and Video-teleconferences, virtual links, individual coaching and networking opportunities). |
This programme is essential to strengthen your organisation.
By participating in it, you can be recognised as an effective role model for other businesses in your region.
