Special Global Enterprise Week at the British Library - 19th November 2009 

Finding inspiration in others can give you the motivation to go on and drive positive social change with your business. Ogunte and the Global Tribal Network run the annual Women in Social Leadership Awards to recognise some amazing women of influence.

This event will be all about you, dusting off your networking skills, with access to previous winners and experts in business advice.

Ruth Churchill-Dower
Social Business Leader Winner, 2009
Ruth runs Earlyarts, a social enterprise supporting the training needs of professionals working creatively with young children and families. Earlyarts currently supports 4500 people through its Professional development Days and ebulletin distribution, plus 51,000 professionals per month use the Earlyarts Resource Bank.

Jennifer Ogole
Leaders in the Workplace Winner, 2008
Jennifer came to the UK as a refugee and asylum seeker in 1980. She is now the CEO of the Bang Group, a combination of media, education and community development. Bang Radio, is the first "Social Radio", providing a platform for people and organisations to share information and grow their community. Jennifer leads a team that has enabled over 800 volunteers to have a go in media broadcasting since it started in 2002.

Daniela Barone Soares
Leaders in the Workplace, Commended Finalist, 2008
As the Chief Executive of the Impetus Trust, a leader in Venture Philanthropy in the UK, Daniela’s aim is to have all crucial ‘actors’ collaborating and pulling in the same direction to generate sustainable social change. Impetus has been able to ‘leverage’ £5.50 additional to each £1 that they put into each charity.
