A resident of Thessaloniki, Greece, Roxanne graduated with Honors from Harvard College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Literature. While an undergraduate, Roxanne served on the Board of Directors for the Harvard International Relations Council and as the Secretary General for the Harvard National Model United Nations Conference.

2011 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards - APPLY NOW!

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Award, a joint project with the Women’s Forum, is a social entrepreneurship competition aimed at creative, financially sustainable and responsible women-led start-ups, in all countries and industries.
The Awards are given each year to five laureates, one per continent: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. The prize includes one year of business coaching, US$ 20,000 in funding as well as an invitation to the 2011 Women’s Forum Global Meeting (13-15 October 2011 – Deauville, France).

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland is now accepting applications for the Social Impact Programme, including tailored practical assistance and funding of up to €130,000 to develop innovative approaches for addressing social problems or issues in Ireland.

The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) has launched the 2011 Fast Forward Competition which aims to support research projects to gain the maximum benefit of their Intellectual Property.
Awards of between £10,000 and £100,000 are available for projects undertaken by Higher Education Institutes or Public Sector Research Establishments in the UK that set, test, develop or embed best practice in Intellectual Property within the sector.
