March 2010 | Great, Woman, You're In!

Headermadmimi

Welcome to the March 2010 edition of the Oguntê newsletter, packed with tips, opportunities, jobs and events.

This month...

Great, you are in!

Wouldn't it be lovely to hear that from an investor? We want to know what are the top three reasons why you sometimes can't get access to finance (equity, loan, grant)... provided you got feedback, of course!
Write to info@ogunte.com
One Green Rewards voucher will be given away to one of the respondents.

Or not yet...

Be real about the reasons why your business, your campaign or your network stalls... if it does! Did you really listen to your mentor? Have you really looked at your deliverables lately? Isn't it time to invest into management skills training or to influence your local MP for instance? Is someone else, abroad, doing the same job as you? When will you meet them? What does it take for you to go through the so-called glass ceiling...? What does it take for you to get that crucial investment? Come on, chop chop chop!

Tell us how you intend to grow your campaign, your network or your social business! Talk to us on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Featured Social Innovator

Lee Chalmers | What Leadership for the 21st Century?

Meet Lee, the founder of the Downing Street Project and other bold political initiatives, as this month's featured Social Innovator.
Lee sets out to change what people in the UK recognise as leadership. "Currently only 19.5% of our MP’s are female and a paltry percentage of our senior leaders in business are female. This is partly down to practical factors, like women leaving to have children, but is also partly because people still link the term ‘leader’ to men."
