Women all over the country are so filled with passion and purpose that they are dedicating their lives to  creating businesses that make a difference.  They are stepping up and creating businesses  with conscience.  Businesses that have purpose. Businesses that make the world a better place.

Women Unlimited are holding a mini-conference to celebrate Women in Social Enterprise. This morning session will inspire, educate and motivate you to reach forward and increase your personal impact.  You will have the opportunity to network with other fabulous women and will be able to ask questions of women who are breaking new ground.  This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the leaders of the future.

The Women-Unlimited team has pulled together a fantastic set of speakers to share their stories, experiences and learning with you.  

Erin Pizzey – Challenging the status quo Erin Pizzey is a well known author and famous for her work with battered wives in the early 1970s. While she didn’t discover domestic violence she was the person who forced it forward as a major social problem. Her bold act in setting up Chiswick Women’s Refuge in 1972 led to a series of celebrated court cases in which Pizzey took on the hostile local council.  Erin has not had an easy life, and is not afraid to go against popular opinion.  She will be sharing her experience about how she challenged the system and created one of the most important charitable organisations in the UK today.

Martino Cartella of Prevista – Financing and funding your business Martino is an experienced business advisor and will run a session on funding options for social enterprises.  Prevista offer Business support, advice and training team for businesses. Offering workshops, training courses, networking events, online resources and qualified business advisors.

Marieme Jamme – The 21st Century female social entrepreneur An established serial entrepreneur, and founder of the Marieme Jamme Foundation, Marieme is passionate and dedicated in helping to empower women, men and children through education, health, wealth and social entrepreneurship across the Globe. She is currently the President of SpotOne Global Solutions Group a successful company that helps companies set a foothold in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia and recently Founded iConscience.co.uk, an organization that enables business experts and like-minded individuals to share their expertise and experience in the name of sustainability, development, ethics and morals.  

Servane Mouazan – Creating IMPACT Servane is the founder of Ogunte which supports women from across the world how to be better leaders in the social business world. Servane will help you understand how you can create influence, how to make people believe in you, champion you and follow you. She will share with you how to create IMPACT.
