Measure Your Social impact PDF E-mail

Your work affects your community, your environment, people…

What does it mean and…  Could you have made a greater contribution?

Measuring social impact is a fundamental part of any social organisation as it provides the answer to whether the job is being done effectively.

When other organisations give you generic indicators to work with, the Social Impact Team at OGUNTE provide you with tools and techniques to understand your values, translate them into a focused proposal, and establish unique measurements criteria that fit YOU and RELEVANT stakeholders.

Why you should think of it right now?

Carrying out work without establishing what you want to achieve is like building a house without the foundations – it may end up a useful house but be standing on shaky ground.  It is very difficult and costly to put the foundations in later.

Think of measuring your impact now….

Because you will save money:

You will save up to 70% of your administration and data collection costs when you do your final reports.

Because you will save time:

You will know that some specific clients or stakeholders are not worth spending time with, if they don’t contribute to your impact.

You can re-use your social impact criteria in your marketing material, your P.R., your management systems.

Because it will help you clarify your proposition:

You will be able to set clear intentions and you will have a unique way to contribute to social change, with quantitative and qualitative, bespoke and internationally recognised measures.

Because you will be credible:

If you can demonstrate your social impact, your organisation will also stand up to scrutiny. Investors and funders will have more reasons to trust you and to support you financially.

You will be able to influence decision-makers with your evidence.

Because, most crucially:

You will know and have credible evidence of what you have achieved with little hassle and interruption to your day-to-day work.

Why should you sign up to a Social Impact Workshop?

Measuring social impact is straight forward if the planning is done.  A social impact workshop at the planning stage of a business will establish what it is you can measure and how you can measure it.  Ongoing support will help you through the ups and downs of collecting data in the real world and reporting workshops and support will help make ensure that you social impact report satisfies the needs of stakeholders and can be easily integrated into your business planning.
